In A World Where We Judge..

We judge the poor man because we don't know how it feels to have nothing.

We judge the prostitute because we wonder how she could stoop so low.

We judge the beautiful people because we are jealous. But we don't know the pain they are living with.

We judge the disabled because we've never walked in their shoes.

We judge the famous because we don't know what it would be like to be famous.

We judge the dropout because we don't realize that simply, he needs more help than others.

We judge the angry because we don't understand what is making them hurt.

What is wrong with the world . . .

Hello lovely people, you've probably noticed by now that I write a lot about judging. I hope you don't mind. It's simply something I'm passionate about. I've dealt with it a lot in my past and have seen many of my loved ones get judged, and let me tell you, the results are often times heart shattering. It makes me sad that the world is so hurtful. And although there are shimmers of goodness still out there, there is still a lot of things that cause others much pain and hurt. I hope this poem inspired you even a little bit, and as always please let me know you're thoughts.

  1. Hullo Mak,

`...We judge the angry because we don't understand what is making them hurt...' indeed.

We can't get enough thoughts on `judging'. Tolerance it seems, is becoming an increasingly rare commodity.

  3. Hi MaK!

There is so much we need to know about how to be human. See if this resonates with you as it does/did with me.

"So understand that as one, you cannot judge each other.
When one of you judges, others feel the separation of judgment. Judgment comes from fear, causing separation; separation is disconnection from source, from Unity,
from Love. When humans engage in judging behavior, they forget their own divinity and the divinity of others. We taught the Maya to understand the saying, “I am another yourself,” which means, “I am divine, and I recognize the divinity within you.” Fear and separation from divinity and from each other causes humans to judge one another, forgetting the concept, “I am another yourself.”

…judgment is aligned with polarity and attached to emotion; it is aligned with the need to be right and a need to force others to see things as you do.”

We are one is my credo Frank

    2. Do realize that those are not my words but I keep them near at heart for me and for just such occasions. My writing is for the most part dedicated to bringing forth Truth. It is my job and I have been ostracized for bringing out the truth about those who fear me (and all others) are forced to judge me (and all others.) One day they will get what they reap and be thankful for the gift.

The sad thing is that they/ we live in fear of ourselves. Own the truth and it will free you is oft said but, alas, not paid heed to properly. If you would like any more words of wisdom from a rather unique source let me know. Frank

    3. Definitely Frank. Thanks for the inspiration. It means so much. Isn't this the truth. So sad that people live with such insecurities that they feel the need to take it out on others. And I will definitely let you know! :D

  5. It's awful that we live in a world where we judge everyone at everytime we get the chance. Perhaps it's a part of our natural instinct to judge people, maybe it can be viewed as a defensive action. Nevertheless it's a bad thing.

I don't like to judge people, I do my best to threat everyone the same. Although it's hard sometimes. How great wouldn't the world be if we all were just friends? Ah, a perfect world!

    1. Very, very true my friend. The world has become a sad place in a way..if only we could take each others imperfections and realize that everyone has flaws. Realize that we don't need to judge them simply because their different.

      Thanks for stopping by!
